Bautozar.ro was an online auto marketplace created for Dacia and Renault, with the purpose to centralize offers for passenger cars (new and used), commercial vehicles, and auto financing – all in one place.

KEY FEATURES

  • Advanced search by brand, model, price, mileage, year of manufacture, fuel type, transmission etc.

  • Integration with the 2012 “Rabla” (scrappage) program

  • Direct buy & sell options for cars through the platform

  • Detailed filters (number of owners, engine power, county, and more)

IMPACT

Recognized as “the best online auto fair” for Dacia and Renault, the portal is no longer available, having paved the way for today’s e-commerce platforms www.vanzari.dacia.ro and www.vanzari.renault.ro.

As long-term partners of Dacia, we built a digital bridge between the brand and its customers. Despite the short execution time, the project was delivered on schedule and exceeded expectations.

  • Real renders integrated and customized to each customer’s chosen color

  • Structured product data enabling the full catalog to be populated accurately in just a few clicks

IMPACT

The platform transformed car buying from a traditional offline process into a seamless digital journey. Customers could configure their dream car, preview it in their chosen color, and place an order – from the comfort of their home.

By making e-commerce for cars intuitive and trustworthy, the project set a new benchmark in Romania and proved that even one of the biggest purchases a customer makes can be completed entirely online. Today, the website stands as Dacia’s official online sales platform.
